Eligibility

Admissions Requirements

Students wishing to enroll in GSIS may apply if they meet one of the following criteria and can submit the necessary documentation. Applicants must qualify under at least one of the eligibility requirements listed below.

One or both parents hold foreign passports (non-Korean passport):

1. Copy of valid passport title page of child, father, and mother
2. Copy of child’s birth certificate and or Korean Family Registry
3. Copy (front and back) of parents’ valid Alien Registration Card

부모님 한 명 또는 양쪽 부모님 모두 외국 여권 소지자이며 한국 국적 소지자가 아닌 경우:

1. 지원 학생과 부모님의 유효 여권 칼라 사본
2. 지원 학생의 출생 증명서 칼라 사본 또는 가족 관계 증명서 원본
3. 지원 학생 부모님의 외국인 등록증(앞/뒤) 또는 거소증 칼라 사본

Category

입학 자격 요건 B    

Both parents hold KORAN passports (including those who hold dual passports):

1. Copy of valid passport title page of child, father, and mother
2. Copy of child’s birth certificate and or Korean Family Registry
3. Student’s Certificate of Entry and Exit to support that the student has spent 1,095 days or more outside of Korea (Reference period from birth)
4. School transcript and Attendance Verification from school(s) attended overseas (must be official and signed)
5. If student is a dual citizen, copies of both passports, and Certificate of Entry and Exit for both passports

부모님 양쪽 모두 한국 국적을 가지고 있는 경우(이중국적자 포함):

1. 지원 학생과 부모님의 유효 여권 칼라 사본
2. 지원 학생의 출생 증명서 칼라 사본 또는 가족 관계 증명서 원본
3. 지원 학생이 국외에서 1,095일(3년 X  365일) 이상 체류했다는 사실을 증명하는 출입국 사실 증명서(출생일부터 적용)
4. 국외에서 학교를 다닌 경우 학교 성적 증명서와 재학 증명서는 원본 제출(반드시 재학 중인 학교의 공식 서명된 원본만 유효)
5. 지원 학생이 이중 국적자인 경우, 두 여권의 사본과 두 여권에 대한 출입국 증명서를 제출
